Two Holy Mosques Authority, Misk Launch Innovation Program
Makkah, August 24, 2026, SPA -- The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques, in partnership with the Innovation Diwan program of Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation (Misk), launched an innovation program, aimed at turning creative ideas into solutions for societal challenges related to the Two Holy Mosques while fostering a culture of innovation and participation in developing sustainable initiatives.
The program forms part of the authority's efforts to broaden the horizons of innovation, leverage creative talents and ideas, and enhance community participation in developing solutions that serve the Grand Mosque, the Prophet's Mosque, and their visitors, contributing to improved service quality and an enriched pilgrim experience.
The program focuses on three main areas: technology, culture and values, and social responsibility. This enables participants to develop ideas and solutions that respond to challenges, keep pace with modern developments, and harness innovation in service of the Two Holy Mosques.
The program offers participants an integrated innovation journey. It begins with learning from experts and acquiring innovation skills through hands-on practice, followed by developing a prototype and transforming ideas into tangible solutions that can be tested and refined. Participants then present their solutions to relevant entities to support their growth and enhance opportunities for adoption.
Misk Community is one of four tracks under the foundation, which collectively seek to empower young people, develop their capabilities, and enhance their contributions to development and innovation.
