Two Holy Mosques Authority Guides Umrah Performers on Suitable Times to Perform Umrah during Rabi' Al-Thani

Makkah, September 15, 2026, SPA -- The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque continues its awareness and guidance efforts to facilitate Umrah and help visitors to the Grand Mosque choose suitable times to perform their rituals, contributing to smoother movement and enhancing comfort and safety in the Tawaf and Sa'i areas.

As part of its awareness messages for this year, the authority outlined the expected crowd density levels in the Tawaf and Sa'i areas throughout the day. It indicated that the period from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., as well as the period from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., experiences low crowd density.

The authority noted that the period from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. experiences moderate crowd density, while density rises to a high level from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. These indicators enable Umrah performers to take crowd levels into consideration when planning their Umrah and selecting the most suitable time.
