The General Authority Launches a Bundle of Smart Solutions to Measure Beneficiaries’ Satisfaction…

The General Authority for the Care and Management of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced the launch of a bundle of smart solutions to measure beneficiaries’ satisfaction with the services provided at the Two Holy Mosques, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the experience of visitors and ʿUmrah pilgrims and improve the quality of services. The General Authority explained that the project includes the creation of an advanced technological dashboard for managing acrylic signs equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) chips, enabling the collection of real-time data on beneficiaries’ satisfaction through interactive touchpoints distributed across various locations within the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque. It further stated that the plan includes the supply and installation of 1,000 smart signs supported by NFC technology, comprising 650 signs in the Grand Mosque and 350 signs in the Prophet’s Mosque. These signs will cover key services and quick-win initiatives provided to visitors, contributing to the generation of accurate indicators that reflect service quality and operational performance. The General Authority added that the system includes the development of an integrated operating interface and a control dashboard linked to the survey system, in addition to identifying suitable locations for the installation of the signs, activating and operating the chips on-site, and conducting the necessary testing to ensure operational efficiency. The General Authority emphasised that this initiative represents a qualitative step towards employing modern technologies to measure beneficiaries’ satisfaction directly, thereby supporting decision-making, enhancing service efficiency, and improving the experience of the Guests of Ar-Rahman at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
