Madinah, September 04, 2026, SPA -- Emergency medical teams affiliated with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) in Madinah Region successfully restored the pulse of an 84-year-old Indian Umrah performer after she suffered a medical emergency during Friday prayers at the Prophet's Mosque, as part of the emergency medical deployment plan dedicated to serving worshippers and visitors.

The emergency team responded to the case within 56 seconds, provided the necessary emergency medical interventions, and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation until her pulse was restored. She was then transported to Bab Jebreel Health Center for necessary medical care.

Director of the SRCA's Madinah branch Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani said the rapid response to emergency cases reflects the high level of readiness and well-planned field deployment of emergency medical teams at the Prophet's Mosque and its surrounding areas, providing care during critical moments and enhancing the chances of saving lives.

Dr. Al-Zahrani commended the emergency medical teams for their efforts, efficiency, and prompt response, affirming the authority's continued efforts to enhance its readiness and field deployment to serve worshippers, Umrah performers, and visitors to Madinah.
