Religious Affairs Presidency Designates Quran Class for Deaf Women at Grand Mosque

Makkah, October 21, 2026, SPA -- The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has dedicated a Quran class for deaf women at the Grand Mosque as part of its specialized educational programs aimed at making the Holy Quran easier to learn, promoting inclusive religious services, and enabling various groups to benefit from Quranic initiatives.

The class focuses on creating a learning environment tailored to the needs of women with hearing disabilities through appropriate teaching and communication methods that help them study the Holy Quran, understand its meanings, and develop their Quranic skills. It also seeks to provide equal opportunities for them to participate in religious and educational programs offered to female visitors of the Grand Mosque.
