Over 250 Advanced Printing Machines Boost Quran Printing Capacity at King Fahd Complex

Madinah, September 02, 2026, SPA -- The King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex in Madinah embodies an integrated system of modern technologies for printing and producing the Holy Quran, supported by the latest specialized equipment and machinery that enhance production quality and printing accuracy in accordance with the highest technical and technological standards.

The complex houses more than 250 advanced printing machines and production devices, including both web and digital types. Some of the complex's printers have a production capacity of more than 5,500 copies of the Holy Quran per hour.

This massive technological system is crowned by three large and advanced Compacta and Rotoman machines, which are among the latest printing presses. They operate with unprecedented efficiency, with each machine having logged more than 31,870 operating hours and achieving a record production volume of more than 800 million signatures. Each copy of the Holy Quran consists of 10 complete signatures, seamlessly arranged and integrated through the coordinated work of the production lines.
