MWL Condemns Ongoing Israeli Incursions and Violations of the Sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Makkah, September 29, 2026, SPA -- The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli incursions into and violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque by settlers and extremist ministers, under the protection of occupation forces, along with the accompanying violations and provocative practices.

The MWL also condemned Israeli statements regarding the annexation of areas in southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa denounced these serious violations, which inflame the sentiments of Muslims worldwide, as they constitute a grave violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites. He also condemned other attacks and threats that obstruct peace efforts in the region.
