Makkah, October 25, 2026, SPA -- The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's targeting of Makkah and Madinah regions with two ballistic missiles, whose debris fell in Wadi Al-Mughammas in Makkah and in Al-Nuzha neighborhood, Wadi Jalil, and Masturah Center in the governorates of Jeddah, Taif, and Rabigh, respectively.
In a statement, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa denounced the Houthi militia's terrorist attacks, describing them as a violation of the sanctity of Islam's holy sites and a dangerous provocation to the sentiments of more than two billion Muslims.
He reaffirmed the MWL's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter such attacks and safeguard the sanctity of the holy sites and the lives of civilians.
