Makkah Municipality Begins Receiving Applications to Qualify Catering Contractors for Hajj 1448 AH

Makkah, September 17, 2026, SPA -- The Holy Makkah Municipality has begun receiving applications to qualify catering contractors for the 1448 AH Hajj season, starting Saturday, Rabi Al-Thani 1, 1448 AH, as part of its early preparations to enhance the readiness of services provided to pilgrims and improve field operational efficiency in accordance with the highest standards of quality and food safety.

The municipality noted that applications are being received through the electronic contractor qualification platform (<a href="easha.hmm.gov.sa" target="_blank" style="color:#0000c0" title="">easha.hmm.gov.sa</a>). It called on entities seeking to provide catering services to complete and update their information in accordance with the approved qualification requirements and comply with the specified technical and administrative regulations for application approval.

It noted that the qualification process aims to ensure the provision of safe, high-quality food services and enhance operational readiness for the Hajj season by applying technical standards and oversight mechanisms that strengthen the safety of the catering system and improve the efficiency of its operations.
