Jeddah, September 9, 2026, SPA -- Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz received in Jeddah Civil Defense Director in Makkah Region Maj. Gen. Abdul Salam Abu Sabl and head of the team assessing the performance of government entities involved in implementing the general emergency plan for Hajj Maj. Gen. Misfer bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani, along with team members.

The deputy governor received the final report assessing the performance of entities involved in implementing the general emergency plan for Hajj 1447 AH and commended the efforts of all those involved. He affirmed that the achievements were made possible by the support of the wise leadership and cooperation among various sectors, reflecting a spirit of integration and teamwork in serving pilgrims.

Prince Saud was also briefed on the team’s work, which included reviewing detailed emergency plans prepared by the relevant authorities and conducting field visits to several entities and their work sites in Makkah and the holy sites. The team also attended simulations and drills.
