Madinah Deputy Governor Inspects Holy Quran Printing Complex
Madinah, September 18, 2026, SPA -- Madinah Region Deputy Governor Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz visited the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex to inspect operational workflows, printing stages, and global distribution efforts.
He was briefed on the complex's production milestones, with cumulative output exceeding 400 million copies since its inception. Annual production surpassed 12 million copies in 2025 and has exceeded 15 million copies to date in 2026, alongside an expansion of Quranic meanings translations to 79 languages following the addition of 16 new translations.
Prince Saud also reviewed the complex's digital transformation projects, which include a redesigned official website and the digitization of more than 44 language translations to broaden worldwide access to Quranic content.
The deputy governor concluded the visit by reviewing visitor services, commending the complex's mission and Saudi Arabia's continued global service in printing, publishing, and distributing the Holy Quran.
