King Abdulaziz Quran Competition Participants Visit King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex
Madinah, August 16, 2026, SPA -- Participants in the 46th King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran visited the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex in Madinah. The visit was part of a cultural program arranged for them following the conclusion of the competition’s final rounds, held at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
The 334 participants, representing 133 countries across all continents, toured the complex’s facilities, departments, and production lines. They received an explanation of the stages involved in printing the Holy Quran, as well as the processes of review, proofreading, and production. They also learned about the complex’s publications and its efforts to print the Holy Quran, translate its meanings into more than 80 languages, and distribute its publications worldwide.
The participants praised the facilities, equipment, and specialized work dedicated to serving the Holy Quran. They commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to care for the Quran through its printing, distribution, and teaching.
They affirmed that the complex’s work reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to the Holy Quran and its efforts to make the Quran and translations of its meanings accessible to Muslims around the world.
