Hajj Ministry's September Programs Advance Pilgrim Services, Digital Transformation
Jeddah, September 30, 2026, SPA -- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah continued to organize events, programs, and initiatives to serve pilgrims throughout September, including local and international meetings and various campaigns.
The ministry's September media bulletin announced the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the sixth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, to be held in Jeddah in November, alongside a Saudi-Turkish Umrah companies meeting in the city.
In services and outreach, the month saw the launch of an Umrah awareness campaign for local pilgrims, the distribution of more than 300,000 umbrellas to Umrah performers, and the qualification of more than 8,000 external agents. The fourth edition of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum was also held in Jeddah, bringing together stakeholders to showcase the latest solutions for enhancing pilgrim services.
In digital transformation, the ministry announced a comprehensive cloud migration for the "Nusuk" platform at LEAP 2026, as part of efforts to develop technical infrastructure and improve services for pilgrims.
The ministry's September activities reflect an integrated approach to serving pilgrims and Umrah performers, spanning awareness, qualification, and digital development, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
