Hajj Ministry Concludes Preparatory Meetings with Offices from 78 Countries

Makkah, October 06, 2026, SPA -- In preparation for the 1448 AH Hajj season, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has completed a series of meetings with Hajj affairs offices from 78 countries to enhance readiness, monitor operational plans, and align requirements and timelines before the pilgrims arrive in the Kingdom.

Discussions focused on the various stages of preparation for the season, progress in implementing the approved schedule, comprehensive package procedures, and contracting with authorized service providers. They also covered awareness and guidance programs, regulations governing Hajj operations, and arrangements for accommodation, transportation, catering, and crowd management.

These meetings are part of the ministry’s proactive approach to working with Hajj affairs offices, based on continuous readiness monitoring, early identification and resolution of challenges, and clear assignment of responsibilities and deadlines for each stage.

Work on the 1448 AH Hajj season began on Dhu Al-Hijjah 12, 1447 AH, with the delivery of the preparation document and the operational schedule to the Hajj affairs offices, followed by a comprehensive evaluation of the previous season.

This early planning reflects integrated efforts to provide a journey that is more organized, seamless, and reassuring, extending the care the wise leadership accords to pilgrims in line with the objectives of the Pilgrim Experience Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
